Application
It can be used in concrete surface and steel structure waterproofing system. When painting or coating is used, complemented by RONKA polyester fabric to form a perfect construction system. It provides comprehensive solutions for the light panels, protruding pipes, fan openings, metal plate joints, reinforcement screws, gutters, and other weak points in metal roofs. With excellent fatigue resistance, aging resistance, low-temperature flexibility, and superior elasticity, it stands as an expert in various building scope.
Installing Guideline
A. Metal roof overlap
A layer of base coating is applied to the metal roof joint first, and then a 15~20 cm wide piece of woven polyester cloth is embedded in it while it is still wet. Then the woven polyester cloth is fully soaked with base coating from above until it is completely dry.
B. Protrusions of metal roof (such as chimneys, air vents, fan outlets, etc.) Cut the size and shape of the sewing polyester cloth, cut it according to technical requirements, paint a layer of base coating around the protruding parts, lay the cut sewing polyester cloth on it, and fully soak the sewing polyester cloth with the base coating from above to ensure that there is no blistering or wrinkling.
C. Metal roof fixtures
A 10 ㎝ x10 ㎝ piece of woven polyester cloth was treated in the same manner.
D. Metal roof gutter
For the joints of gutters and downspouts, start with localized waterproofing
using a metal roof waterproofing system. Then, apply a layer of coating over a larger area for waterproofing. While it is still wet, lay polyester fabric in the joints and thoroughly soak it with slurry from above until it is completely dry for at least 12 hours. Finally, apply another layer of slurry.
E. One or two layers of surface coating shall be applied in the area where waterproofing treatment is done. The total coating rate of surface coating shall be 35 square meters/20 liters (it is recommended to apply it twice to keep the total coating rate unchanged).
F. The coating rate of a single layer of base coating is 40 square meters /20 liters.
G. The concrete roof can be laid directly, and the overlap should be guaranteed to be 10cm. If waterproofing is needed on the four walls, it should be ensured that the vertical surfaces are done first, and then the flat surface (i.e., vertical surfaces before plane)
